Testimonials can be a great way to find out what the product or service could be good for you. According to Inc. 84% of people trust online reviews as much (if not more) than their friends recommendations. So it can be really important to get good testimonials and reviews. It's something that has not been lost on many DJ's.
So it's well worth your time to look at testimonials as going to see a DJ before you book them will more than likely be a bit of challenge. I myself have been asked by potential clients to see if they could see me in the field. I've often found myself in a tough predicament as how or who am I to invite along a strange couple or guests to your wedding... it's odd. So failing that testimonials are a good way of doing this. That and photos and videos (please take the time to look at some of my videos by the way).
However...
I question how accurate a lot of these testimonials are? For example my approach to a lot of clients is to not beg for a testimonial. For three reasons; One I don't think it's very good customer service badgering people for a testimonial even though they are incredibly important. The second is I stand by the work I do I feel I offer a fantastic service and I don't need to ask for essentially a validation of it. I want my testimonials to be well earned if I haven't had to ask for testimonial and it's still given I feel that's a genuine and well earned testimonial that really means something more than a hollow expression.
So with all that in mind please feel free to view our testimonials, I think we've earned them!
